The other day, when I was riding my Bullet on a highway, I realized that a bike ride can tell us many things. Since I get to ride a bike many times a day, it was one of those days that I could experience this...
As I entered the highway from a normal city road, my vision got expanded, my sight got stretched and my mind had got more active. When I was in the traffic, I couldn't go beyond 60 kmph, no matter how hard I tried. I couldn't see beyond a 10m radius.
But now, everything changed, all of a sudden. I'm on highway now. I can see up to, more than 100m. I can go up to and beyond 120 kmph. It is only limited by my bike's potential. But, the point is that I don't know my bike's potential until I test it to the extremes.
So, I raised the power. I'm aiming at the fastest possible and the farthest reachable. The speed increases gradually. My accelerator is at a constant pull. I'm holding it still, but the power keeps piling up. Cutting through the wind, racing against the friction and the drag, I touched a peak of 143 kmph, the highest speed, I could ever move with, till now on this planet.
Now, coming to the main point, i.e., what I've experienced, the road with traffic is our childhood.
We don't have a big vision, we don't run behind our dreams like hell. It is when you get a certain age, that you feel the rush of jumping up to a new level. But, holding the pull of the accelerator is the key, no matter what happens.
highway - adolescence
accelerator - hope/faith
ride - life
